  • Your Friday Cocktail: Rum Cider at the Tiki Bar

    It’s a little chilly tonight here in sunny south Florida, so I decided to throw together a warm drink. It’s an easy one, and very tasty:

    Apple Cider
    Spiced Rum
    Cinnamon
    Nutmeg

    Heat up a cup of cider in a pot with a few sprinkles of cinnamon and nutmeg, until just before boiling. Add spiced rum to taste… I like it strong, a full shot. Drink warm from a nice mug. You can even top it off with a little whipped cream if you want!

    Getting back into the swing of writing again after a long, fun month of Halloween. Catch you tomorrow with something new!
